Bonnie Siegel

When Bonnie Siegel moved from New York to Kansas she had one vision in mind…. She knew there was a way to provide a positive impact to the meeting and event industry by combining a team of creative thinkers along with meeting and event planners and brand strategists. She took her knowledge from her time working at the United Nations and started ASE Group in 1987. She made a commitment to offer clients exceptional event marketing, meeting planning, and brand strategy that exceeds their own goals and objectives. Bonnie Siegel has focused ASE Group’s sights on working within the corporate market, franchise organizations and most recently political campaign events.

ASE Group, Inc. is uniquely differentiated from other mainstream event companies, having mastered the dynamic relationships between corporate, franchise, general managers, store managers, representatives, and vendor partners. This strategy has earned the firm top exposure for the franchise, dealer, direct sales and retail conferences that they  produce.  Bonnie Siegel has over 28 years of experience in events, meetings, branding strategy, and protocol, and has developed a global client list – proof positive her approach works.

In 2015, Bonnie Siegel was invited to join Ted Cruz’s Presidential Campaign where she has put her brand strategy expertise to work, acting as the Campaign’s National Brand Strategist. ASE Group has partnered with the Cruz for President campaign to produce numerous nationally publicized events.

Over her tenure with ASE Group, Marissa Schaffner has served in a variety of positions, all which have led to her current position as Executive Vice President. Through these different roles and responsibilities, Marissa Schaffner has gained the insight, experience and expertise that enables her to serve as a mentor to her colleagues as well as being a champion to ASE Group’s clients. She has a very strong sense of what our clients need, how ASE Group can fulfill and exceed their expectations. Her primary role is to oversee all company operations with a strong focus on client’s ROI, making sure the meeting and event delivers the desired results on budget.


As Senior Vice President of Meeting and Event Operations, Ashley leads a team of skilled meeting and event planners who all live by the mantra, “I Can, I Will.” This is the team that is responsible for bringing together all of the elements of a meeting and event from supplier negotiation, theme development, registration, audio/visual production, food and beverage selection to on-site execution, and everything in between. Her solid background of over 13 years of experience executing meetings and events helps drive the operations team to provide stellar client service along with unparalleled execution for all clients.

Jonathan is leading and developing New Business Development for ASE Group.  He joins the ASE team in putting our client’s first, providing solutions to meetings and events that exceed our client’s expectations.  Jon is committed to building relationships with clients as he wants them to achieve greater profitability, increased brand awareness, and greater market share. It is proven that well planned and designed corporate meetings enhance employee engagement.  Jonathan is working with clients who want to use meetings and events as a true marketing tool for their companies.

Rameka Sahadeo’s role as a New Business Development Director supports the business development team with creating new relationships with clients and ensuring a smooth transition between sales and operations. Her thorough understanding of what an ASE Group experience should look like for our clients made her transition from working in the operations department to her position in the business development department a natural progression. She brings great strengths in writing, research, social media and technology; and there’s not a person she meets that doesn’t become a friend!
